Terms of Coaching

Many people create change for themselves via coaching in a short time. However, to refine and sustain the change takes several months. The Client is committing to a coaching relationship (either private coaching or a group course) for a specific term after which time Provider and Client may re-assess to determine if both parties would like to continue the coaching relationship, however there is no obligation past Client's initial term.

 

Holidays & Time Off 

Provider observes the following holidays, birthdays and pre-scheduled time off.  If the call falls on one of these days,  it will need to be rescheduled by the Client in advance: 


New Year's Day: January 1 & 2
President's Day: Third Monday in February
Memorial Day:
Last Monday in May
Labor Day: First Monday in September 
Thanksgiving Week: 4th Thursday in November (M-F)
Provider also takes the month of July and the last 2 weeks of December off.  


The following family birthdays are also observed:

January 4, February 18, June 10, October 26

 

Coaching Fees 

To be determined per client or program.

 

Procedure 

Provider and Client will conduct calls via phone on pre-arranged days and times. Provider requests that Client schedules calls during times where Client will be uninterrupted and free to express themselves and their emotions fully.  If this isn’t possible, the session should be rescheduled for a time when they can be fully present. If Client needs to connect with Provider in between sessions with a challenge, a success or an inquiry, she will make every attempt to respond within 36 hours. If an additional coaching session is requested between scheduled calls, it will be billed at the rate of $595/hour.


Changes 

Committing to the coaching process may sometimes be just as challenging for some people as any of the issues worked through during coaching. Client's full commitment is expected. If Client needs to reschedule an appointment, please give Provider a 24-hour notice via VOXER or email first then voicemail. If Client has an occasional emergency or illness, Client can reschedule with less than 24-hour notice. If Client does not show up for a scheduled call, for any reason, and provides no notice the session will be forfeited and billed. If Provider needs to reschedule, she will give you at least 24-hour notice as well, barring an emergency or illness. 

 

Cancellation Policy

All coaching packages and programs are non-refundable.  If Client chooses to cancel this agreement before the agreed upon term is completed and/or if the client has missed more than 3 sessions per 6-week timeframe and the agreement is terminated by the Provider, client will be responsible for a 50% buyout of the remaining months left on the agreement of monthly billing plan in order to terminate the agreement. No refunds will be issued.


Communication 

Coaching can be a confronting or emotional process. My methods are designed to give you breakthroughs and may feel challenging. This is by design and should be expected. However, if I say or do anything that upsets you or doesn't feel right, please bring it to my attention as soon as possible so that we can resolve it. My objective is to have a coaching relationship that is fully open, honest, real and trusting in our communication styles. We should both realize that communication via written format entails extra challenges since  we cannot see body language, facial expressions, or hear intonations, etc. Therefore, we give each other plenty of latitude, and promptly ask for clarification if there is a misunderstanding through written media.

Personal Coaching Agreements


Provider 

  1. I agree to serve as your Coach, to partner with you to identify and achieve your personal goals.
  2. As your Coach, I cannot guarantee results. You will create powerful results by having the courage and determination to forward the action in your life.
  3. During the time we spend together in our coaching sessions, I will devote my time, thoughts, and energy to you, exclusively. In between our sessions, I may not be instantly available, as I may be attending to others, or myself. I will however, be available or respond within 36 hours within the coaching hours provided above (“Procedure”).
  1. I am a Coach, not a psychotherapist, psychologist or physician, and I am not trained in diagnosing psychological or medical conditions. If any issues come up for you that should be handled by a licensed therapist or physician, I insist that you must attend to your health by contacting the appropriate professional. I will advise you when I feel you may be in need of professional attention outside my scope of knowledge or expertise.
  1. As your Coach, I will bring attentive listening, understanding, belief in you and commitment to your success. You can expect me to challenge you, offer fresh perspectives, make requests, acknowledge your wins, and guarantee utmost confidentiality (to the fullest extent of the law, and so long as I don't fear for your or another's safety) in our powerful, sacred relationship. I realize that the nature of our discussions may be sensitive, difficult or even painful. I honor and respect the courage it may take for you to confront whatever you need to confront to break past your limitations.
  2. There may be assignments in our coaching agreement. Because many of our sessions will build on the previous ones, if you feel that you will be unable to complete an assignment by our next call, I will need to know as soon as possible so that we may renegotiate a new completion date.

 

Client 

  1. I am motivated and committed to taking action on my determined personal goals. I realize that anything less than my intentional and full participation will not lead to my success.
  1. I accept full responsibility for myself and any actions I take or do not take that might result from Coaching.
  2. I am under the care of a physician and healthy enough to engage in coaching. I represent, acknowledge and agree that I have no doubts or concerns of any kind or nature concerning my physical, mental or emotional health or stability and I am voluntarily participating in coaching at this time.
  3. I can financially afford the coaching fee at this time. I agree to automatic monthly payments paid on the first (or 15th) of each month for that month's service. I agree that ultimately, it is my responsibility that my coach gets paid for the services agreed to in this document. I acknowledge there are no refunds for this coaching program.
  4. I agree to honor my scheduled session times and schedule my sessions during times I will be free to fully engage and express myself.
  5. I have read and agree with the Coaching Guidelines and the Coaching Agreement.
